What is Polymer Clay?
Polymer clay is a high-quality PVC-based modeling material that is cured at controlled temperatures (approx. 110-130°C / 230-265°F) in an oven. At Wackelwelt, we use this material for every personalised bobblehead made to customer specifications.
In Germany, the material is widely known under the brand name FIMO (by Staedtler). Professional sculptors and figurine modelers worldwide appreciate polymer clay for its excellent workability, fine detail reproduction and durability after curing.
Unlike traditional clay or plaster, polymer clay does not need to be fired – controlled oven curing is sufficient to achieve an extremely stable, break-resistant end product. This makes it ideal for your personalised bobblehead from a photo.

Care Tips for Your Figurine
Place your figurine in a dry location, ideally not in direct sunlight.
For cleaning, a soft, slightly damp cloth is sufficient. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents.
Avoid standing water on the base – the sealant protects, but prevention is better.
For storage, use the original packaging or wrap in a soft cloth.
